To add some visual pimpage to his electronic project ‘Cross My Heart Hope To Die,’ Cypress Hill member as well as solo artist, DJ Muggs (aka Lawrence Muggerud) drops the official video for “Rollercoasting,” off their self-titled debut EP. The word choice, ‘coasting’ over ‘coaster’ is aptly put given the music’s down-tempo groove and slowed BPM rate, which makes it stand out from your typical adrenaline-pumping rave/club tracks that have dominating the airwaves. The music video content is also an experience to beholden, taking the viewer on a trippy ride through Tokyo’s neon-glazed streets. Muggs is making what can best be described as ‘thug-step’ and he’s making it feel good.
