Growing up in a hip-hop household, Cordell Broadus (Dirty D) and his brother Corde (Spanky Danky) watched their father Calvin Broadus, better known as Snoop Dogg become a platinum selling artist and make millions in the process. Now, the young pups are following in their Dad’s paw prints and have decided to step up to the mic. on a new album entitled, The Royal Fam. With Snoop coaching and anchoring most of the tracks, the Broadus Boyz deliver slick marijuana-infused rhymes, reminiscent to their legendary fathers — over 10 tunes, produced by Cardo on the beat.

On the opening track, “My 2 Boyz,” Snoop raps “me and my two boys, keep the money in the family, jew boys.” Cordell, who is currently in high-school is fielding scholarship offers from LSU and USC and is rated the No. 7 wide receiver in the class of 2015. His older brother Corde was a standout football player in high school as well but decided to focus on his rap career instead of taking a scholarship from UCLA. Both Broadus Boyz appeared on the reality TV show Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood, alongside their sister Cori.
