Chief Keef Sentenced To 20 Days In Prison After Testing Positive For Weed
Another day, another prison trip for Chief Keef. According to the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago spitter was sentenced to 20 days in prison for testing positive for weed.
Officials said that the 18-year-old rapper, real name Keith Cozart, was required to undergo random drug tests after pleading guilty to a speeding ticket he received this past summer. Though he shelled out $531 to settle the ticket, he was placed on probation for 18 months and ordered to undergo random drug tests.
The news follows a series of recent run-ins with the authorities including being held in contempt of the court after failing to pay child support and being in possession of drugs.
Keef, who recently dropped his mixtape Almighty So this past weekend, was scheduled to appear in court Sept. 5 in a child support case but will now be expected in court Oct. 21. Should he fail to show up, the judge can issue a warrant for his arrest. Sheesh Keef.
