Justin Bieber Releases ‘Heartbreaker’ As Part of His New Music Mondays
Four months, 17 weeks, 119 days, 2856 hours, 171,360 minutes or 10,280,000 minutes — that’s how long Justin Bieber fans have been waiting for his new batch of music. Bieber finally gifted his Beliebers with the new single “Heartbreaker” at the stroke of midnight early Monday morning. The track is part of the 19-year-old’s new Music Mondays, where he will be releasing a new song at the top of the week for the next ten weeks. “These songs are different,” Bieber tweeted his fans. “These are my #journals.” They are different indeed. Bieber ditches pop for R&B on “Heartbreaker,” and takes a more emo approach to the lyrics and melody. You can thank producer T-Minus for the added strung-out emotion, along with co-producers Maejor Ali and Chief Tone. “It’s a song for people going through heartbreak—like I was when I wrote it,” Bieber said of the track. “It means so much to me to be able to share what I was, and still am, going through, with my fans. I’m very proud of this song and I hope it gives my fans some insight into my heart.” Listen to “Heartbreaker” below.
