Miley Cyrus ‘Bangerz’ Debuts In The Top Spot On Billboard 200

Miley Cyrus twerked her way to the top as her recent release Bangerz debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard 200. The starlet formerly known as Hannah Montana sold 270,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. This marks her fifth no. 1 album.

The “Wrecking Ball” singer is followed by Panic! at the Disco’s Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die in second with 84,000 copies sold. Drake stays anchored in the top 3 with his third effort Nothing Was The Same.

G.O.O.D. Music’s own Pusha T slid into the fourth spot with his solo debut My Name Is My Name moving 75,000 units, 3K more than his label mate Big Sean’s sophomore release Hall of Fame. Danny Brown strikes some fools’ gold with 15,000 copies sold during its first week at no. 17.
