Premiere: Ben Moon Don’t “Wake Up Me” (Music Video)

This video premiere comes from the creative mind of Ben Moon. His visual treatment for upbeat dance track, “Don’t Wake Me,” features a visual mash-up of celebrity icons (including Marilyn Monroe and Mick Jagger) and the early underground Roklyfe parties. Beaming psychedelic colors and fuzzy, distorted graphics pay homage to punk rock music videos circa the ’80s, and reflect the individuality of Moon’s music. Ben Moon’s vivacious sound translates in the video with his choice of energetic video clips and bold colors. The new single can be found on his debut album “Rhythm Method.”Definitely one to watch:

As well as being a successful producer and DJ, Ben is also a talented painter and his artwork portraying New York life is currently being projected around New York as part of Scope’s SEE.ME Creatives Rising Art Project. So far, the buildings showcasing his work include; the Gagosian Gallery, Sotheby’s Auction House, Christie’s Auction House, the Guggenheim, MoMA, the Conde Nast building, Bank of America Tower, Bergdorf Goodman, Prada, the LMVH tower, Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, the Sony building and Island Def Jam. The projection can be seen on Saturday 5th October, but here’s a preview of his paintings.
