Justin Bieber has been giving in to his artistic urges while overseas. Last week, he tagged up a wall in Colombia, showing support for his musical chum Chris Brown and was photographed, spray painting the wall of a Rio building in Brazil. Only difference: Brazilian authorities deem it vandalism.

According to TMZ, the Biebs is copping ignorance, saying that he was unaware that graffiti was illegal, while local police have reportedly launched an investigation. Authorities have tried to track down 19-year-old singer at his rented mansion.

JB has since left Rio and was reportedly advised by locals that it was A-OK to leave his mark on the building. The law of the land says that defacing edifices is punishable by law for up to a year in prison.
