Recently named as one of ‘VIBE’s 30 DJ’s To Watch 2014,’ Michael Brun formulated a progressive house haven this year along stunning remixes and collaborations with some of the best in the biz. Brun dabbled around the greats such as Armin van Buuren, which speaks voumes to the DJ and producer’s future. We asked Brun what dance tracks made his own 2013 top list. Here they are.

1. Jeremy Olander – “Let Me Feel”

“I love what Jeremy Olander has been releasing lately. Great melodies and rhythm. Let Me Feel is also just a a great track to set the mood for the night.”

2. Alicia Keys & Maxwell – “Fire We Make” (Michael Brun Remix)

“I think the vocals harmonies by Alicia and Maxwell in this track are so special, so I tried to retain those moments in my remix while also adding my own touch.”

3. Dubvision – Rifler

“This one from my good friends Dubvision is such a powerful track but still retains emotion. I especially love the violin swells in the break.”

4.Armin Van Buuren ft. Trevor Guthrie – This Is What It Feels Like (Audien Remix)

“The original version is one of my favorite vocal tracks from this year, but this remix by Audien gives the song an extra burst of energy that makes it work so well live.”

5. Michael Brun ft. Zashanell – “Halfway”

“It gives me goosebumps to see people singing along to this one at shows. Especially because it was my first original vocal track.”
