Miguel changed the art of R&B with his album, Kaleidoscope Dream. From his melodic vibes to the rhythmic and soulful sounds, Miguel really put his best foot forward and will continue to do that with his forthcoming album. In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, he stated he was working with Britain’s rising star, Jessie Ware. The two crooners made their mark in the industry this past year, and Miguel fans can look forward to a well-crafted project in the works.

The album is in its early stages of development (its slated to release in the fall via Bystorm/RCA) and he’s spending the next month and a half writing and recording it. Aside from Jessie Ware’s feature slot, he also hopes to work with Kanye West, Jack White, Yasiin Bey and the usual suspects J.Cole and Kendrick Lamar.

“It was a little daunting because I wasn’t sure how rusty I’d be,” Miguel said about the upcoming album. “I’d been collecting ideas and writing down concepts and phrases and all those things you hoard as you’re moving along, and that very first day in the first hour, we had something special. I think my spirit was ready to go and ride the wave, so to speak. I’ve been so focused on performing and making sure that what we do live is connecting. So now I’m just happy to be in a place where I can have solitude and just create freely.”
