Snoop Dogg’s flight to cloud 9 last night (23. Jan) brought a band of firefighters to his hotel room in Australia, thinking there was a real fire, according to TMZ.

The police report states that there was “smoke from an unidentified source” that triggered fire alarms at around 10am. But when the fire officials went to investigate, all they found was smoke, no flames and an amused Snoop, who posed with the team and mused on how he always wanted to be a fireman.

“The guys were thrilled to meet him,” a spokeswoman told ABC. “The duty station officer didn’t know who he was at first. He later sent in a photo and his kids were thrilled.”

The Doggfather was Down Under for the Big Day Out festival, which took place Jan. 19.
