Watch Drake Introduce the Toronto Raptors Starting Lineup

It was “Drake Night” at the Air Canada Centre where the Toronto Raptors took on — and beat — the Brooklyn Nets. Drizzy himself was in the house with a mike in hand, but he didn’t deliver the type of performance you’d expect. Instead, Toronto’s very own put on his best Marv Albert announcer voice and introduced the Raptors’ starting lineup.

The Grammy-nominated rapper was hilarious at his new outpost. Not only did he not skip a beat, he added his own personal commentary to each starter’s introduction as his track “Trophies” played in the background. At one point he even called out Kyle Lowry’s resemblance to Chris Tucker. (“They use to tell him he looks like Chris Tucker, but he doesn’t,” charged Drake.)

Drake has served as the Raptors’ global ambassador since the fall. Rumors have it that the Raptors are open to a franchise revamp that would take on the black-and-gold colors of Drake’s OVO Sound label, much like the shirt he was seen wearing on Drake night. Watch Drake put the rap in Raptors below.
