Chief Keef Sued For Missed Charity Show
Chief Keef’s legal woes continue to pile up as the Chicago drill music frontman is the target of yet another lawsuit TMZ reports.
Last June, Keef was booked to headline the RapCure cancer benefit concert in Cleveland but failed to show up. Court documents reveal the company responsible for organizing the event paid Sosa a $15,000 deposit and an additional $2,500 to cover his travel expenses. Kim Productions is now suing Keef for a whopping $26,000, which includes the money paid to Keef, plus the amount spent on the venue, lights, equipment, advertising and refunded tickets.
The “Don’t Like” rapper faced similar charges last August, when he skipped out on a show in London. He ignored the lawsuit and was ordered to pay $230,019 to concert promotion company Team Major.
Keef’s swelling rapsheet now spans several years, filled with charges ranging from drug distribution, resisting arrest and parole violations.
