Jordin Sparks And Jason Derulo Had A Busy Super Bowl Weekend

For Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo, it wasn’t all about The Seahawks creaming the Broncos on national television (sorry guys). The musical couple had their own rounds to make, both social and charity-wise. Each year, Jordin uses the week before the Super Bowl to push her “I’m M.A.D. Are You?” campaign, and in honor of that, M.A.D. Girls Inc. and Live-N-Direct Multimedia assembled the 7th Annual Jordin Sparks Experience.
To kick off the fun, on Wednesday Jan. 29, Jordin headed up to Spanish Harlem with Doug E. Fresh and his Hip Hop Public Health Initiative. They joined dance fitness instructors Jazmin Espinoza and Diego Delgado of the Sensazao Crew to teach latin-infused moves to 250 kids at the Community Academy of the Heights. NFL players Wade Smith, Travis Johnson, Chester Pitts and KJ Stroud were also there. The event (along with Jordin and Jason’s Red, White and Black party at W.I.P. days later) was taped for an upcoming TV special on FUSE.
Later that week, Jordin and Jason made appearances at FOX’s Good Day New York, NBC’s New York Live at Rockerfeller Center, with FUSE TV in the middle of Times Square at Super Bowl Boulevard and at NFL legend Boomer Esiason’s private NFL brunch at the Friars Club where Jordin sang the National Anthem. To round things up, the duo signed teddy bears and read to children at the New York Presbyterian Hospital.
