Josh Baze To Drop New Album This Summer

Brooklyn emcee Josh Baze is reminding us that the east coast has a swagger all its own. Signed to Griffin Guess’ Cartel Records, Baze made his debut in 2012 with High-Heels & Low-Lifes. Heralded as an “Artist to Watch” by iHeartRadio, the 23-year-old made waves with his singles “She’s Gold” and “We Made It.” With an unmistakable, gritty singsong style, Baze was able to tour with heavyweights like Ludacris, Childish Gambino and 2 Chainz behind his last LP.

Now Baze is set to make an even bigger mark with his second album COLOUR BLIND, dropping June 6. The cover art for COLOUR BLIND is simple yet vivid, featuring a painted heart with loose brushstrokes. It’s clear Baze is going in a more artistic and daring direction and this is an album the streets should look out for.
