Battle of the Latinas: Brooklyn v. The Bronx
Apparently Rosie Perez and Jennifer Lopez have had long term beef since their In Living Color days. The two Latina bombshells were reportedly good friends, but shortly after working together, their relationship turned sour because of J. Lo’s “diva-like” tendencies as a dancer on the show. Surprised, Vixens?
Rosie Perez speaks up about their unresolved beef in her book Handbook of an Unpredictable Life by quoting J. Lo as a young dancer on the show.
Perez says Lopez snapped on her one day saying, “You pick on me, me and only me, every f–king day! Every f–king day! I work my ass off, deliver and you keep pushing me aside, treating me like sh-t! I know I’m good! I’m better than any of these girls, and you know it.”
Although Perez has tough skin and a real Brooklyn attitude, she says that this is just creating unnecessary tension for brown entertainers when there needs to be unity.
