Lawsuits have been flying left and right lately. Luckily for Usher and his protege Justin Bieber, one worth $10 million against them was just dropped.

In the suit, filed in 2013, Virginia songwriters Devin Copeland and Maerio Overton claimed that Usher and the Biebs copied parts of a song that they wrote in JB’s 2010 hit “Someone to Love”.

On Friday (Mar. 28), a U.S. District Judge ruled that the two songs are not intrinsically similar and dismissed the case.

This is good news for Bieber, who is already facing his own legal woes, after an arrest in Miami earlier this year and a digital trail of deposition clips.
