Ludacris Claims to be ‘Publically Humiliated’ and Begs Judge to Seal His Custody Case
Ludacris isn’t having the best year and he’s desperate to change that. The new father is embroiled in a nasty custody battle with his baby mother, Tamika Fuller, and fears it’s ruining his reputation and future income .
According to RadarOnline, the rapper claims to be “publicly humiliated” and is asking the judge to seal his entire case. “Because the media is able to read and misinterpret the documents in the Court’s file in this case, every day since Jan. 1, 2014, I have been publicly humiliated and called a deadbeat dad, who does not want to see or support his minor child. Nothing could be further from the truth,” the filed documents obtained by the website stated.
In the filings, he presented the judge with an article, “Ludacris Baby Mama – You Treat Our Kid Worse Than a Dog,” as an example of the negative media attention and fear that his daughter may see these when she gets older.
He also accused Fuller of not allowing his daughter, Cai Bridges, to meet his family, but before she was two weeks old he “already paid almost 3,500 in child support” and “offered on several occasions to pay some portion of the Respondent’s (Tamika) attorney’s fees” two months prior to Cai’s birth on December 9th .
He knows there’s a chance his case could get thrown out but he insisted that while his case is available for public viewing, his future earnings and good name aren’t jeopardized. “In the event that an ex parte Order is not granted—my name, reputation, character, goodwill and brand will continue to suffer irreversible harm and damage, which may eventually jeopardize my earning potential”
His baby mother problems continue to escalate into a nasty but sad lesson on the importance of using condoms.
