Premiere: S.B.O.E. Flips An NYC Rap Classic With ‘Hate Me Now’
Mark our words: 2014 is the year that New York City hip-hop officially matters again. And S.B.O.E will be a big part of the Big Apple’s rebirth.
The Sha Money XL-backed Queens collective recently signed with Epic Records and is set to rep New York’s vintage sound while bringing a fresh twist. Exhibit A: S.B.O.E’s latest release, “Hate Me Now,” which flips Nas and Puffy’s classic of the same name. Do the opposite of the song’s title and press play. NYC, we back! —John Kennedy
