Snoop Dogg Designs A House For SXSW With Airbnb

Snoop Dogg teamed up with hospitality company Airbnb in an effort to offer some R&R at this year’s SXSW festival in Austin, TX. As one of the artists selected to build a house in The Airbnb Park, Snoop will take part in the brand’s creation of an oasis among the hustle-and-bustle of the popular music event, featuring three artist-created houses filled with activities, entertainment and highlights of the curator’s personal style.

In a recent behind-the-scenes video, Snoop is shown tossing around ideas for his Airbnb house. Blunt in hand (of course), the rapper channels his inner Martha Stewart as he conceptualizes a 70s-themed house, decked out in psychedelic color-changing light. Inspired by classic films such as The Mack and Super Fly, as well as sports video games, Snoop works with Airbnb to bring all of his interests into one room.

The Airbnb Park will be located on 1501 6th Street from March 11 to March 15 in Austin. Watch Snoop create his house in the video above.
