The man responsible for plowing through a crowd and reportedly killing three people during the South by Southwest Festival last week was an aspiring rapper and producer.

Rashad Charjaun Owens, 21, had self-produced instrumentals and freestyles on his KillingAllBeatz Soundcloud page, which had 30 followers. Owens was also said to to be studying music production at Full Sail University, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The American-Statesman reported that Owens was in town to perform at East-Austin club, Club 1808, on Thursday before the incident occurred. No performance from Owens was found on the club’s website.

The Killeen native is currently sitting behind bars with no bond and being charged with two counts of capital murder and 23 counts of aggravated assault. He also has warrants from an old kidnapping case regarding one of his six children.
