T.I. is set to hit the big screen once again, but this time, taking on a funnier role alongside comedy’s favorite guys, Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell. Reports sparked that the trio would be working on a new film when the fun-sized funnyman, Hart, posted a flick on Instagram.

Deadline reports that Tip will be going back to his trouble-making days In Ferrell’s forthcoming laugh fest, now titled Get Hard. T.I. is said to be playing Hart’s street savvy cousin, Joaquin, who is recruited to teach Ferrell’s character, a millionaire fraud man, how to “get hard” before he serves his prison bid.

While the King of the South made his acting debut in the 2006 film ATL, this role will add to his growing list of acting gigs, including his current guest spot on the Showtime series House Of Lies and last year’s season-long guest run on the Starz’ show Boss and appearance in Universal’s Identity Thief, alongside his own VH1 reality show Family Hustle.

Get Hard is slated to hit theaters on March 27, 2015.
