New Music: Jennifer Lopez ‘First Love’
Jenny from the block returns with her new song “First Love.” On the up-tempo ditty produced by Max Martin, J.Lo wishes her love story would have started with a happily ever after. “I wish you were my first love ‘cause if you were first there wouldn’t have been a second, third or fourth love,” she sings on the hook.
During an interview with Ryan Seacrest, the mommy of two described the song as “that feeling when you find somebody that you are really are into, and you’re like, ‘Why didn’t I meet you years ago? I wouldn’t have had to go through all this crap.’ It’s just one of those love songs, like ‘I love you, I’m happy that I found you’ type of thing.”
There’s still no word on what the title of her 10th studio album — due June 17– will be, but the project already lists features from Nas, Maxwell, and Chris Brown.
