Viola Davis Receives Honorary Doctorate from The Juilliard School
Commencement season is in full swing and our celebs are still being honored. The Juilliard School held their 109th Commencement ceremony on Friday May 23. Eight honorary doctorate degrees were awarded and The Help actress Viola Davis was amongst the honorees. The Academy Award nominated actress, who graduated from Juilliard in 1993, received an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree. Davis is set to star in Shonda Rhimes’ upcoming ABC show How to Get Away With Murder. Congrats to Dr. Davis and all of our other celebrity honorees.
