Dr. Dre Gets Warm Welcome To Apple At WWDC
The doctor is in.
At Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, Senior Vice President of Software Engineering Craig Federighi gave hip-hop mogul Dr. Dre a warm welcome to the company, using a new app that allows iPhone users to make calls through their Macs.
“What time should I show up for work?”, the hip-hop mogul joked. “New employee orientation starts at 9:00, and you don’t want to miss the free t-shirt,” the exec playfully responded.
While Dre’s title is yet to be revealed, this is his first formal introduction to the Apple brand after his Beats Electronics and Beats Music were purchased from Apple for a cool $3 billion as announced last week.
