Kick off the weekend with these top 10 dance music releases from the past week, curated by DJ, producer and vocalist Lea Luna.

1. Netsky- “Running Low”
Drum and Bass celebrity Netsky has a huge masterpiece on its way to his massive following. “Running Low,” a hands-in-the-air DnB anthem graced by the smashing vocals of Beth Ditto, is coming out in August, but his fans are already chomping at the bit with this sneak peek available on his Soundcloud.

2. Mumbai Science feat. Peaches- “Whistleblower”
Anyone who appreciates Peaches’ infamous filthy lyrical style needs to hear her new collab with Mumbai Science. This nasty breakbeat is the perfect feel for sexed-up rump shaking on a dancefloor packed full of freaks.

3. Anna Lunoe- “Bass Drum Dealer”
Straight from Nest (a free-music label and media platform founded by Skrillex), we have a brand new, incredible, bass-heavy ace from Anna Lunoe. The industrial low-end arpeggio and intoxicating vocals sets up a nice drop into tribal percussion and booming 808 bass. This is truly a unique and unpredictable original that makes it’s own genre out of choice sounds from the realms of the underground.

4. Todd Terry- “Real House”
“Real House” is a fresh new track for old-schoolers who understand the roots of house music. A pleasant flashback, this track has elements of house, disco and acid- the foundations of dance music. It’s refreshing to have a touch of new production that is impervious to the monster that dance music can sometime be. It’s a great choice for those who aren’t on the EDM craze, but rather, for those who crave the classic feel that all of it came from.

5. Borgeous- “Wildfire”
“Wildfire” is a huge production on the beautiful side of progressive with killer vocals and massive chords, whcih will take any large festival crowd to the highest of highs. There is no other place for this one besides the absolute peak of a set, where it will leave the crowd elated and melted from the heat. This is gigantic.

6. Junior Sanchez & Sultan + Ned Shepard “Deeper Love”
A classic vocal has been resurrected by Junior Sanchez and Sultan + Ned Shepard. Having found a perfect home on Size Records, this gem is both house and big room appropriate. The ascending synths and banging drums give this one an edge that will lure millennial listeners into an unexpected history lesson.

7. DANK & Frankie Bones- “My House”
Two of New York City’s heavy-hitters have teamed up for an underground explosion with a dynamite track. Major label remix king DANK and the godfather of techno Frankie Bones are about to release “My House” on Ultra in a few days, and the preview already has an impressive number of plays. This is the epitome of “East coast banger” right here.

8. Maceo Plex- “Conjure Bots”
“Conjure Bots” is a great name for this track, which has dark vocoded robot voices and all kinds of tasty electronic sounds zipping in and out of the atmosphere like a sci-fi movie soundscape dropped right on top of a chugging minimal tech beat. The stereo imaging of this one is very disorienting, perfect for an after hours blastoff.

9. Kenneth Thomas and Har Megiddo- “Be With You” feat. Michael Keterer (Arkatec Remix)

Manufactured Music just put out a nice remix pack for “Be With You” that includes this killer late night progressive remix by Arkatec. It’s really a nice contrast between Michael Keterer’s vocal and the massive super club sound this remix provides, it’s sure to get a few bottle pops in the house when played in the setting it’s made for.

10. Grandtheft and Jackal- “Let Me Tell You Something”
These two artists from Toronto are creating interest in the States with the sound of twerk. With Mad Decent behind them on this track and a pocket full of forthcoming releases, it’s safe to say their flight is taking off any minute. Don’t miss the plane…
