Tracy Morgan Upgraded To ‘Fair Condition’ In Hospital

After being hospitalized following a six-vehicle car crash, comedian Tracy Morgan has from critical to fair condition, CNN reports.

“Happy to pass along that Tracy has been upgraded to fair condition, which is a great improvement,” Kay said. “His personality is certainly starting to come back as well.”

Morgan was involved in a collision after a Walmart Truck crashed into a limo bus containing him and four other passengers. Unfortunately, the accident killed comedian James McNair. Morgan’s injuries include a broken femur, broken leg, broken ribs and broken nose.

Kevin Roper, the man charged with the accident has pleaded not guilty to charges that include assault by auto and vehicular homicide. The police report claims Roper had been awake for 24 hours at the time of the incident.

Morgan was slated to kick off a new sitcom on FX, but the channel issued a statement saying, “The only thing we are concerned with is the health and recovery of Tracy Morgan and the victims of this tragic accident. We will support Tracy and his family in every way possible throughout his recovery.”
