Young Thug Signed To 300, Says Kevin Liles
Like how he got his septum piercing and affinity for dresses, Young Thug has kept his label situation in the dark. First, there were reports that he had inked a deal with Gucci Mane’s 1017 imprint followed by whispers he signed with Cash Money Records by way of Birdman.
Now, 300 founder/ record exec, Kevin Liles, confirmed that the rapper has finally found a home at 300. Liles recently told Revolt, “We have a deal with Young Thug that I’m excited about.”
300 is a new label started by music veterans Kevin Liles, Todd Moscowitz, and Lyor Cohen, which hosts artists like Raz Simone.
Liles said this about 300’s business model, “There should be no cookie-cutter deal. There should be a smorgasbord of deals that we could do with entrepreneurs. We built a platform, similar to what we did with Roc-A-Fella, Murder Inc., Disturbing Tha Peace, Ruff Ryders, we just provided platforms for people to build companies.”
