Word On The Web: Nicki Minaj Pushed Back ‘Anaconda’ Release For Beyoncé Collabo
There could only be one explanation for Nicki Minaj pushing back the release of her “Anaconda” single: a Beyoncé collabo. Last December, the Beyhive and Barbs were whispering that Bey’s management company Parkwood Entertainment had confirmed that Bey and Nicki were in the booth working on a new tune for Nicki. Now, HipHopWired reports that the hold-up is due to Mrs. Carter dropping a new single co-starring the YMCMB rapstress, according to an industry source.
CONFIRMED by Parkwood Entertainment Beyoncé was in the studio with Nicki Minaj to record a song for the third studio album from Nicki.

Minaj kept a tight lip about the delay, writing on Instagram, “My darlingz, I’ve pushed the release of Anaconda to next week, Monday 8/4. I promise you will understand why before the week is out. Loveeeeeeee uuuuuu.” If Nicki and Bey do tagteam for a new record, it’ll be clear who runs the world.
