The Internets can’t shake Taylor Swift’s new video. The country-pop singer announced that she would be drop her “first pop album” titled 1989 on Oct. 7 via Yahoo! live stream on Monday (Aug. 18). The big news didn’t come without a surprise bonus visual for the new LP called “Shake It Off.” Here, Swift brings back nostalgia of her “Thug Story” days and poses with a boombox, draped in baggy clothes. Did we also mention she has twerkers? The visual didn’t sit too well with many on the web, particularly Odd Future rapper, Earl Sweatshirt.

The swift criticism called to mind the heat Katy Perry got for her latest visual “This Is How We Do,” where she wore a Geisha-inspired outfit and cornrows. Does Sir Sweatshirt have a point (or several)? Watch the video in full and sound off in the comments below.
