Well, well, well. It looks like one of the leading gossip magazines are in hot water right now. Tatsha Robertson, former senior editor of People magazine and the only black one it has ever hired has slapped them with a big juicy lawsuit for discrimination.

According to Tasha, her former boss treated her unfairly in comparison to her white peers. She allegedly ignored her pitches, excluded her from meetings and made rude comments surrounding her race like, “You need to talk like everyone else here. You’re not at Essence anymore.”

Robertson’s lawyer notes in the Huffington Post, “She has also thrived and succeeded while working under five Pulitzer Prize-winning editors. No one has ever had any issue whatsoever with the way Ms. Robertson spoke or communicated.” Well, what can we say Vixens? Ignorance is bliss.
