While Nicki Minaj continues her promotional run for her forthcoming bootylicious single “Anaconda,” the Queens native was issued a $50,000 lawsuit by an entertainment company.

IMP Entertainment claims that they paid the “Pills N Potions” rapper $50K for a hosting gig during NBA All-Star weekend in Hollywood, Calif. on February 19, 2011, Page Six reports. However, the YMCMB member showed up 90 minutes tardy to the party, and left 30 minutes after her arrival which “defeated the entire purpose of” the emcee’s approval to host the festivity. A statement from Minaj’s camp has yet to be released.

The Queen Barb is preparing for her performance at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, taking place on August 24 at 9pm ET on MTV.
