Indiana Pacers’ Paul George Suffers Dreadful Leg Injury

N. Brown / August 2, 2014

Things aren’t looking too good for NBA player Paul George.

The Indiana Pacers’ small forward suffered a serious leg injury Friday (Aug. 1), during a Team USA showcase at UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev.

While trying to block the Houston Rockets’ James Harden, George landed awkwardly on his right leg. The 6’9 All-Star was later carried on a stretcher off the court, leading U.S. coach Mike Krzyzewski to cancel the remainder of the scrimmage out of respect for George and his family.
