Word On The Web: Kanye West And Paul McCartney Collaboration In The Works
Kanye West and Paul McCartney could be joining forces on the mic. Page Six and British tabloid The Sun report that the 72-year-old Beatle has been secretly recording with Yeezus for a song “tentatively” called “Piss On The Grave.” Their sessions could also churn out a potential album. “Kanye and Paul have known each other for a long time but have become more friendly recently,” a source told The Sun, noting that West has been courting Macca “for a while.” “There’s every chance they’ll head into the studio together,” the source added. Sir Paul showed support for ‘Ye’s last album when he tweeted during a Q&A last October that he had bought Yeezus. Mr. West also popped up at McCartney’s show earlier this month with actor David Spade.
Cheers @JacksonBeatles The last albums I bought were by @kanyewest @The_National @thecivilwars and @s_c_ (Jay Z) #askMacca

The insider adds that the two artists are fans of secrecy, saying, “They’ve had a few meetings with each other but both of them always keep their collaborations under wraps until the last minute.”
