Rapper Liv Writes Beyonce an Open Letter with “Sorry Mrs. Carter”
Another day another rock thrown at Beyonce’s marriage.
While the world fell in love with Bey’s Nicki-assisted “Flawless Remix,” aspiring rapper Liv dropped her open letter “Sorry Mrs. Carter.” Opening up with the declaration, “I was gonna respect you, but since you crossed over into my lane, it’s time to check you” before severely shading Yonce.
Rapping over Outkast’s “Ms. Jackson” track she borrows a lot of lines from old Jay Z tracks (“when the remy’s in the system” and “Jigga man I don’t care if you rap, you better R-E-S-P-E-C-T me”) to mock the world’s most powerful celebrity.
In her homemade music video, she reconfirms her Life & Style story that she never actually slept with the rapper but that she did have his heart. “Me and Jay never screwed we connected on some hip hop sh-t—When I stepped out, I took a piece of his heart.” While flaunting her natural assets in little-to-no-clothing.
We’re unclear of what lane of Liv’s Beyonce crossed over to get daggers thrown her way, but we know the Beyhive will not tolerate this. Press play to watch her music video and Liv, prepare for the wrath of the hive.
