Remy Ma Visits ‘106 & Park’
Remy Ma is back on the scene and hip hop heads couldn’t be happier. We’ve all been watching her get back on her grind through Instagram, but earlier this week the Bronx femcee hit 106 & Park for her first televised interview since being released from prison. During her sit down with hosts Shad Moss and Keisha Chante, she spoke about her six year stint in prison and the hardest thing to deal with while doing her time.
“The hardest thing that it took me to get used to was asking people for things because you can’t just go to the store,” said the 34-year-old. “You can’t do anything for yourself. As artists we are used to people doing stuff but not because we ask them to do it but because its their job to do it.”
“He’s more hyped about having a wedding than me. Like every day he’s like ‘They have to put this song on the playlist. They have to play this song!’ Our wedding is probably gonna be like three days long,” she laughed.
Watch below to see her chat about mastering the selfie, the female presence in hip hop and what she has learned from being incarcerated.
