A passenger on a U.S Airway Flight traveling from Philadelphia to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic thought it was best to jokingly say aloud that he has Ebola.

“I have Ebola, you are all screwed,” the 54-year-old man said. Fox News reported he also screamed, “I’ve been to Africa!”

Gawker reports that the director of operations in the airport at Punta Cana confirmed extreme precaution was taken. A medical team boarded the aircraft in hazmat suits and took the 54-year-old passenger to a separate area where he was examined and found to not have the deadly virus. It was also confirmed the passenger had not traveled to Africa and is being shipped back stateside for further medical examinations.

According to the person who recorded the entire ordeal, the Ebola joke resulted in a two-hour delay for passengers on board.

People just have no chill these days.
