After debuting the video countdown show that defined the tweens, teenage and young adult years of today’s hip-hop and R&B heads, the corner of 106th Street and Park Avenue in New York City should really be declared as some sort of landmark. Yesterday, BET announced that its long-standing 106 & Park show will be leaving the television screen. Evoking a bit of nostalgia in 20-somethings (and even 30-somethings), the report marks the end of an era. From its debut in the year 2000 with hosts AJ and Free, 106 & Park has packed on moment after moment. Here are 20 of them that we’ll never forget, even though there are plenty more: 1. Aaliyah’s final televised interview:

2. When Jay Z, Beyonce and Solange were besties:
3. When 50 Cent and The Game actually liked each other:
4. That time Terrance J made Rocsi walk off stage:
5. Every time Jin shut down Freestyle Friday:
6. When Terrance J and Rocsi learned that Michael Jackson died:
7. Back when Lil’ Bow Wow didn’t mind if you called him that:
8. That time Kanye West was working Free’s last nerve:
9. Back when Jay Z and Cam’Ron were (kinda) cool:
10. That time August Alsina ethered Keshia Chante:
11. When Justin Bieber was in love with Rihanna:
12. That unfortunate Blue Ivy diss from Karrueche:
13. When Tyra Banks kissed Bow Wow and we were all confused:
14. That time Lil’ Kim was about to go to jail:
15. When Michelle fell, and Beyonce kept it moving:
16. That time Justin Timberlake first went solo:
17. When Chris Brown performed “Run It” for the first time:
18. When Michelle Obama pulled up to the scene:
19. That time Eminem and G-Unit all sat on the couch:
20. When Beyonce did the “Ricky Bobby:”
