Puff, Puff, Pass: Marijuana Is Now Legal In Washington D.C., Oregon And Alaska
The green got the green light from voters last night (Nov. 4) in Washington D.C., Oregon and Alaska.
Taking a page out of Colorado and Washington State, Oregon has legalized the recreational use of marijuana, including personal possession of up to eight ounces for people over 21 years of age. The state will also explore commercial laws to regulate sales, production and distribution, CNN reports. D.C. has legalized the possession of marijuana of up to two ounces for those 21 and over, as well as growing up to six cannabis plants in your home. In Alaska, up to one ounce of possession was legalized.
