HOT97’s Ebro doesn’t hold back his opinions. Even when it comes to questioning the police.

On the latest Ebro In the Morning show, the Hot 97 co-hot questioned NYPD Detective Patrick Blanc on whether or not he’ll address the tensions between many New York citizens, and the NYPD — after the tragics killings of Eric Garner, and Brooklyn police officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu — at an upcoming march celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

“To me, all of us matter, whether it’s Black, White or green, all of us matter. And this is one of the reasons why we’re here today,” Blanc said. “We even have Eric Garner’s mother, she’s going to be part of this walk.”

Blanc, who grew up in Queens, explained his reasons for becoming a cop, his Embrace Ya Kidz organization, and New York City’s Mayor Bill de Blasio, and much more.

However, Ebro didn’t just grill Blanc, he saluted the officer for being a stand-up guy.

“I appreciate you being part of this. And I wish more people like yourself were vocal and being part of this so people could see that all cops ain’t bad,” Ebro said.

The MLK march begins at 2:00p.m. on Superbowl Sunday in Queens, starting at Linden and Merrick Blvds, and ending on Jamaica Blvd.
