Floyd Mayweather Confirms (Yet Again) That He Has Not Agreed To Fight Pacquiao

Floyd Mayweather has proven one more time his fight with Manny Pacquiao isn’t set in stone.

In an interview with David Aldridge yesterday (Feb. 15) at the 2015 NBA All-Star Game, Mayweather confirmed he hasn’t agreed to fight Manny —despite a recent report by The Telegraph stating that the two signed a $250 million deal for a fight on May 2 in Las Vegas. Mayweather revealed that the report, like many others that came before, were false.

“I haven’t signed yet and he hasn’t signed yet. It’s just been speculations and rumors, but hopefully we can make the fight happen,” he said of the alleged contract.

However, Mayweather did say that if a fight were to take place it would happen in May.

“We have to make it happen in May,” he said. “I’m Mayweather.”
