Tell ‘Em Mr. President: Watch POTUS Poke Holes In The Republican Party’s Tactics
While the American people watch Barack Obama’s final lap as president unfold, it appears as if number 44 isn’t holding his tongue when it comes to the tactics of some members of the Republican party, as well as those hoping to succeed him.
In a recent CSPAN video, Barack Obama addresses most of the rhetoric used during presidential campaign speeches by the G.O.P to prove what’s being said is either factually incorrect, or just a way to scare Americans into votes.
“They occupy a different reality it seems. According to them, everything was really good in 2008 when were going through the worst economic crisis in our lifetimes,” Obama said. “Unemployment and uninsured rates were up, we were hopelessly addicted to foreign oil, Bin Laden was still on the loose. This was apparently the golden age that I messed up.”
The audience erupted into applause and cheers with one attendee even yelling “preach!” as the President continued his seven-minute roast of the Republican party. POTUS even went as far as to publicly out the Republican Chairmen of the Senate Environment Committee who carried a snowball into the Senate chambers to prove climate change isn’t really a thing.
“Now, if you went to a doctor. No, let’s change that. You go to 100 doctors and 99 of ‘em tell you you’ve got diabetes; you’ve got to stop eating bacon and doughnuts everyday and we have to monitor your health and we have to fix this. You wouldn’t say ‘Ohhh, that’s a conspiracy. They’re making that up. All 99 of those doctors got together with Obama to try to prevent me from having bacon and doughnuts.’ You wouldn’t do that!”
Obama has had it up to here with the Republicans it seems and is finally telling people how he really feels.
