Remy Ma Says Nicki Minaj’s Alleged ‘Behind-The-Scenes’ Tactics Fueled Their Rift

Following the release of “Another One” — Remy Ma’s second diss track aimed at Nicki Minaj — the Bronx native candidly discussed the real reason behind her strain with the Queens rapper during an interview with Wendy Williams.

While sitting on the purple couch in funeral attire, — “My grandmother told me to never speak ill of the dead” — Remy said certain instances that played out behind closed doors added fuel to the fire that burned the rappers’ relationship. The Terror Squad member began the revelation by stating that Nicki’s alleged lyrical shots on her previous tracks weren’t an issue, but when it came to her finances, then she had to respond.

“It was the behind-the-scenes things that you people will never know about as far as trying to keep me off of red carpets, and trying to make sure awards don’t go to me or ‘she’s not going to be in attendance,’ or trying to get people to make bad reports about my album sales to make me look less and to make her look better,” Remy shared. “When you’re trying to stop my bag, when you’re trying to stop me from taking care of my children, then I have a problem with that.”

The “All The Way Up” artist also said she has more lyrical ammo based off of what other acquaintances of Nicki’s have told her, but she’ll take a backseat in revealing presumably damning information.

“This person, just based on what I’ve been witnessing, is not a nice person,” Remy added. “If I learned anything from this, it made me realize that I have to be a certain way to everybody; the help, the hair, the makeup, the person that’s holding the door, the car driver, because so many people have been coming, and the things that I’ve been hearing I’m like, ‘No I’m not going to say that, that’s too much.’

Those keeping track of the updates are still waiting to see if Nicki Minaj will release a rebuttal to Remy Ma’s previous tracks.
