Spring Breakers Had The Audacity To Chant “Build That Wall” While Vacationing In Mexico

A group of young Americans broke out the disrespect on a recent vacation in Mexico, according to The Yucatan Times.

The local newspaper reports that spring breakers chanted “Build that wall” during a family-oriented pirate ship event with no concern for Mexican workers and national tourists on board, including newlywed Suly Amable.

“Today I was with Suly, my wife (who is a native of Mexico), watching an entertainment show off the coast of Cancun aboard a boat, and at the end of the show, a flock of Americans (maybe under the influence of alcohol, or maybe not), began to sing the infamous ‘Build that wall’ chant louder and louder,” her husband, Anaximandro Amable, recounted on social media.

To no surprise, the Times confirms that this is far from the first incident to occur from tourists in the wake of Donald Trump’s presidency. However, the native Peruvian doesn’t plan to bite his tongue and urges the rest of Latin America to take a stand against xenophobia.

Because that’s not tolerance; that is to be dumb… [and] without character,” he later continued. “And we, Latin Americans, weren’t raised to be anyone’s cute dog nor to put up with anyone’s boot. Long live a united Latin America!”
