The Detroit Lions are having another bad press day thanks to their first-round draft pick, Nick Fairley.
Police in his hometown of Mobile, Alabama busted the Lions' new recruit after he was clocked driving over 100mph. He reportedly tried to elude police and was eventually found to under the influence of alcohol. Cops say after he finally pulled over his Cadillac Escalade to the side of the road, the 24-year-old seemed impaired.
Fairey was cited by troopers for reckless driving, no proof of insurance and an open container. He was released after posting a $1,750 bond.
This is the second time the Mobile native was arrested since signing on with the Lions. Back in April, Nick was picked up on a misdemeanor marijuana charge.
Can this young man get his life together?
