The Mainstream Song: "Boom Boom Pow," from the Black Eyed Peas' 2009 album, The E.N.D.
The "Stolen" Song: "Boom Dynamite," by Chicago juke artist Phoenix Phenom
The Case: One of the Peas' biggest singles to date blew up in their face in January when Phoenix Phenom and her manager sued the group for stealing her song to create their smash hit.
The Evidence: It's basically been a he-said, she-said so far. There hasn't been a ruling yet, but Phoenix Phenom continues to claim that "Boom Boom Pow" is identical to her song. And after listening to both songs, can you blame her for at least trying?
