2 Chainz Elaborates on Working With Kanye's Creative Team, DONDA

With the official release date for G.O.O.D. Music's first group album, Cruel Summer, set for Sept. 4, VIBE spoke to one of the crew's "unofficial" members on what it was like to work with Kanye's new creative team, DONDA, for his own album cover.

"Shout-out to Kanye and his team, Donda," 2 Chainz tells VIBE. "It's just a team full of experts that have different ideas and visions, and when you're sitting there meeting, and bounce ideas around you come up with some great things. I appreciate that opportunity."

While the ATL rapper didn't name exactly who was on the DONDA team, he assured us it was strictly experts.

"It's a host of people involved. [There's] a few people involved, 6-7 people," 2 Chainz confirms.

2 Chainz highly anticipated album, Based On A TRU Story, is scheduled for release on Aug. 14.
