Two weeks after 2 Chainz' tour bus arrest in Oklahoma City following a concert, official police documents reveal that the vehicle was carrying two semi-automatic pistols, a 12-gauge pump shotgun plus marijuana and prescription painkillers, TMZ reports.
Local police stopped the tour bus because of a busted taillight but attempted to conduct a full search when they sniffed out pot. The "Feds Watching" rapper reportedly refused to let officers on board, and was subsequently arrested for obstructing a public officer. An hour later, authorities obtained a search warrant and placed the rapper and ten other people from his entourage under arrest.
Other items that were confiscated from the bus included metal marijuana grinders covered in residue, marijuana pipes, Rx meds (Hydrocodone and Flexeril), rolling papers, scales, a semi-auto Sig Sauer SP2340 pistol, a Mossberg model 500 12-gauge pump-action shotgun, and a semi-auto Glock pistol.
Chainz recently opened up about the arrest in an interview with Peter Bailey on NBC's NiteCap.
It takes up a lot of time and money from taxpayers who are the actually entertainers,” Chainz explains. “At the end of the day we’re supposed to be kind of on the same team. I’m not a bad guy. I’m only in town to entertain people. Once they know I’m not trying to excite riots. I’m not trying to be disrespectful. I’m only trying to feed my family and entertain.”
