Following the 2 Chainz’s Hot 97 Summer Jam performance, Tity Boi chopped it up with Revolt TV about his upcoming sophomore album. He also dropped a line about his unique fashion choices.
“This is some ‘Simon Says’ type of business,” he said. “Around here, you know it’s ‘monkey see, monkey do.’ So I try to stay ahead of the curve ball. It may look funny at first, but it’s supposed to.”
Regarding his second studio album, due out September 10th, 2 Chainz discussed the differences his new release will have from his Based On a T.R.U. Story debut.
“I don’t think I capped out as far as having a glass ceiling,” he told Revolt. “I definitely showed growth. I definitely showed progress. I have some more entertaining features on there; you know I like to keep that element of surprise, keep that hip-hop alive, that feel.”
