2013 Grammys: Rihanna Gives Emotional "Stay" Performance With Mikky Ekko (VIDEO)

Rihanna's not exactly known for emotional songs. The pop star's album titles alone -- 2007's Good Girl Gone Bad, 2009's Rated R, 2010's Loud, 2011's Talk That Talk and her most recent Unapologetic -- are proof that Rihanna has a tendency to be more tough than tender. Hits like "Rude Boy," "Talk That Talk" and "S&M" also resonate that thought, but the singer changed that with her moving 2013 Grammy performance.

Rihanna ditched her usual short shorts and sharp hairstyle to don a gown and soft curls when singing "Stay," a stripped-down ballad off Unapologetic, at the 2013 Grammys. Instead of a bevy of dancers and strobing lights behind her, Rihanna was only accompanied by singer-songwriter Mikky Ekko. Her beautiful voice took center stage during the duet, assuring those watching why she was worthy of her six Grammys, the last of which she took home Sunday for Best Short Form Music Video with "We Found Love" (feat. Calvin Harris).
