25 Arrested at Electric Daisy Carnival

State police brought 25 people into custody this past weekend over the course of the three-day electronic dance fest Electric Daisy Carnival.

According to The Record newspaper, nearly two dozen attendees were arrested for drug possession, assault and resisting arrest. State police said two people were arrested Friday, eight were arrested Saturday and 15 people were arrested Sunday.

The east coast’s biggest House party kicked off Friday at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, showcasing over 80 DJs including Avicii, Afrojack and Calvin Harris. The Electric Daisy Carnival has since branched out into different festivals around the globe including Singapore.

Over 100,000 people were said to have attended the sold-out event.
